A 90′s grunge look for a weekend coffee date at Melrose Place with one of my friends. Ripped denim and a flannel shirt around my waist is the perfect laid back look. To take this look from day to night I would layer the look with a leather jacket and add a pair of strappy heels.
What I am Wearing:
Rag & Bone booties
A few weeks ago I stopped by the DVF Exhibit at the LACMA. I have been a fan of Diane Von Furstenberg’s for a long time. I remember when I got my first wrap dress in High School. It was a leopard print, and I fell in love with it! I was working during the summer break and saved up my money to buy it. There was something about that dress that made me feel all grown up and sophisticated. When I heard that DVF was going to have an exhibit here in LA I couldn’t wait to go! The exhibit has been extended through May 1st so if you are in Los Angeles it is a must see!
Spring is in full effect and I have been embracing the light colors and earthy tones. I was flipping though some books and magazines over the weekend and was so inspired by the bohemian looks of Sienna Miller that I came across. The Sanctuary Clothing blouse I am wearing is loose fitting and perfect for achieving this look. I am also currently loving Mother Denim. I picked up my first pair at their sample sale downtown and they are so light weight and comfortable. I am now addicted to them! What I love about this flared style is the light wash of the denim as well as the fit. You can achieve this look by finding a vintage pair of flare jeans and a loose light colored blouse. Picking the right hat to top off the look is also important. The Rag & Bone hat seen in these photos has been a favorite of mine. It adds a little bit of glamour to every outfit.
